An idea unfolds

Twofold was created by Jessica Warner to channel her passion for distinctive textiles and showcase the designers she’s discovered in her life and through her travels. Jessica launched Twofold in 2013 with her first textile tour to Japan and an online boutique selling products from international textile designers.

Jessica grew up in Canberra, Australia’s capital. After graduating from the Australian National University, she moved to New York, where she worked for the Guggenheim Museum and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. She also nurtured her longstanding interest in textiles with classes in surface design and weaving at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She eventually moved to Asia with her family, spending time in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Sydney before returning to the U.S. and settling in Boulder, Colorado.

Innovative style, old techniques: what's in a name?

Twofold seeks out designers who stand out for their inventive designs and old-world craftsmanship. "Twofold" embraces dichotomies like traditional/contemporary; style/substance; local/global; and functional/beautiful.

What to expect from our small-group tours

Our goal is to provide an intimate, immersive travel experience that connects travelers to new places through the lens of textiles, fashion, craft and design. Our tours focus on workshops and studio visits with designers and artisans; shopping for locally-made artisanal products; and other cultural experiences.
